Individual Classes Available
Digital Photography, Adobe Photoshop,
& Beginning Oil Painting Classes

One on one classes are designed for people who would like personal, individual instruction. These classes are $50. per hour with a 2 hour minimum. An additional $10 per hour will be charged per extra person. A package of 10 hours can be bought for $450. Classes are held in my Sarasota, Florida home studio.

Adobe Photoshop & Elements Classes

What to bring:
1. Paper & pen

One-on-one classes are based on students individual needs. below are some subjects that are most often covered.

Adobe Photoshop & Elements Classes
· Learn about the tool box and the most basic tools
· Using the tool options bar
· Learn to arrange and resize the palettes
· Change the way you view the image
· Understanding resolution and resizing an image
· Introduction to layers and adjustment layers
· Exploring tonal range adjustments (levels and curves)
· Exploring color adjustments (variations, color balance, & hue/saturation
· About empty layers
· Cloning, patching and painting in an empty layer
· Making selections (feathering,modifying, saving & loading)
· Removing unwanted objects with the clone tool, patch tools & healing brush tools
· Creating collages with photo merge
· Creating sepia tones with hue/saturation and solid color layers
· Creating B&W from color photos using desaturation, grayscale mode, channel mixer and lab mode
· Sharpening the image with the unsharp filter
· Preparing the image to print

 

Beginning Oil Painting Classes

What to bring:
1. Bring canvas, paints and brushes or they will be provided for a materials fee.
2. No toxic solvents such as turpentine, mineral spirits, cadmiums or cobalts are used.
